What CRT said it was for
The repair to the offside top-end paddle at Lock 2, Lapworth has now been successfully completed and the lock has reopened to navigation. Please note that although Lock 2 has reopened, restrictions remain in place between Lapworth Locks 2 and 17. The flight is currently open to navigation on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays between 10:00am and 3:00pm, with the last entry at 1:00pm. The flight remains closed to navigation on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays and Sundays. Before travelling, please check the latest navigation notices and restrictions for your planned route.

Please be advised that navigation is currently closed at Lock 2, Lapworth as the lock is inoperable due to a fault with the offside top-end paddle. Our reactive team will be attending site tomorrow, Friday 21 August, to assess the issue and attempt repairs. We will provide a further update as soon as more information becomes available.
