What CRT said it was for
Water levels remain low between Stanton Lock 65 and Hallam Fields Lock 66 on the Erewash Canal. We are working to restore levels as quickly as possible. To help protect water levels longer term, this section will remain closed to general navigation. Passage is still available, but must be booked in advance and will be assisted by our teams. Please be advised that due to low water levels between Lock 65 Stanton Lock and Lock 66 Hallam Fields Lock, the navigation is currently closed. A further update is due on or before Friday 26th June.
