Third-party contractors working on the Wednesbury to Brierley Hill Metro extension will be carrying out night-time works to install a new bridge over the canal as part of the new Metro line. To facilitate these works, the canal will be closed at night only from: 04/06/26 at 21:30 to 06/06/26 at 05:30 08/06/26 at 21:30 to 10/06/26 at 05:30 15/06/26 at 21:30 to 07/07/26 at 05:30 (weekdays only) Moorings will be affected from 21:30 to 05:30, from 04/06/26 to 07/07/26. Signs and buoys will be in place. Please, follow signs and instructions given by third-party contractors. Thank you for your understanding while these works take place.
