The lock flight will remain closed until the team have dewatered it and removed the rubble. We will provide a further update on Thursday.

Please be advised that Walsall Lock Flight has been temporarily closed due to a vandalism incident. Rubble has been dumped behind Lock 3, preventing the gate from being opened. The volume of rubble exceeds what our local team can safely remove today. We are assessing the situation and will provide a further update on Tuesday. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding.
