We need to carry out emergency repairs to the lock gate seals between lock 1 to lock 16 on the Peak Forest Canal, as their condition has worsened. Our team is currently gathering the required materials and will be on site from 8am until 3pm on Thursday 29 January. The lock flight Between Locks 1 and 16 will be closed while the works are carried out. We expect the repairs to be completed on the same day. We will provide a further update on Friday 30 January.
