Navigation & Towpath Closure – Chirk Tunnel (North Portal) Please be advised that both the navigation and towpath are closed approximately 100 metres from the north portal of Chirk Tunnel due to a fallen tree obstructing the route. Our contractor has been contacted and will be on site tomorrow, Sunday, 7th December, at approximately 09:30 to clear the obstruction. We anticipate work will commence promptly upon arrival and will provide updates as soon as the route is safe for passage. Thank you for your patience and cooperation while we carry out these essential works to maintain safety for all users.
