Contractors are currently on site and are working to remove the fallen tree limb. We expect navigation to be reopened by the end of the day. Please note that the removal of the remaining debris is scheduled for tomorrow, so some material may still be present in the canal in the interim.

A tree has fallen and is currently blocking navigation near Bridge 67 on the Trent & Mersey Canal, in Rugeley.
