We are pleased to inform you Lower Lock has been opened this morning, as current water levels permit safe operation. Please note that this is subject to ongoing water level conditions and will be monitored and reassessed as necessary.

Please note, we advise boats to avoid mooring between Brick Lock and Lower lock until the levels have stabilised.

We are experiencing low levels on the River Stort between Hunsdon Lock and Lower Lock. To try and raise the levels, we have added tarps to the top gates and chained the paddles. Once levels are stabilised we will make an assessment. Please avoid mooring in between Brick Lock and Lower Lock until levels have stabilised. Thank you for your understanding.
