Navigation will remain closed between Lock 85 and Lock 86 on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal and Lock 1 on the Leigh Branch due to vandalism with paddles having been left open. The local team is working to restore the levels by feeding water down to the area, but it's taking longer than expected. A further update will be provided Wednesday 30 July.
