Please be advised that due to ongoing concerns regarding water levels, we have made the difficult decision to close the Summit Pound between Locks 53 and 55. The closure will take effect from 2:00pm today (Tuesday 22nd September) and will remain in place until Friday 25th September, when we anticipate reopening the navigation, subject to water levels recovering sufficiently. Thank you for your patience and understanding while we continue to monitor the situation. We will provide a further update as soon as more information becomes available.
