A firework display will be taking place on Sunday 2nd August 2026 between 9:30pm until 11:00pm on the Tees Navigation. The event will be taking place between Princess of Wales Bridge and Millennium Bridge. To ensure the safety of all our customers, the towpath will be closed from 8:00am until 11:59pm and the navigation will be closed from 8:00pm until 11:30pm. We request all customers to approach the area with caution, listen to the organisers onsite and to take note of any signage installed onsite. The visitor moorings between these bridges will be suspended for the event from 8:00am until 11:59pm on Sunday 2nd August 2026. The moorings will be signposted.
