Our Operations Team have been working very hard on this section and have managed to recover the water levels. We are able to reopen this length of canal from Lock 24E to Lock 8E.

Our Operations Team are still working on the water levels and this section of the canal will still remain closed as the affected areas are still low. We will update the notice in the afternoon on Friday to give the section further time to recover.

Our Operations Team are still working on the water levels and this section of the canal will still remain closed as the affected areas are still low. We will update the notice in the afternoon tomorrow to give the section further time to recover.

Our operations team worked yesterday to make the affected boats safe, the canal will still be shut whilst the affected area are filling up. The canal will most likely be shut until tomorrow at the earliest where another update will be provided. Thank you for your understanding.

Due to boater error the canal will be closed whilst our operatives refill the affected areas and make existing boats safe. This will be a lengthy operation so please bear with us. To be updated tomorrow 07 June 2026 at 10am.
