Following a site inspection ahead of these works tomorrow, this closure has been extended from Lock 15 to Lock 17. We need to lower the water levels in the pounds between the locks to safely complete the emergency repairs. The moorings between lock 15 and 16 will be unavailable for the duration of these works.

There will be an emergency closure at Lock 16 on the Stoke Bruerne flight on Friday 15th May between 8am and 5pm. The closure is to complete emergency repairs to the render in the lock chamber. The lock will not be operational during these times, but we will re-open the lock as soon as the repairs are complete.
