Navigation remains closed between Lock 1 and Lock 6 on the Glasson Branch of the Lancaster Canal. Our teams continue to work to restore water levels so that navigation can safely resume. Boaters currently on the flight can contact the North West team on 03030 404040, the Operations team will be available to assist anyone wishing to leave the Glasson Branch. A further update will be provided on or before Wednesday, 20 May.

Due to limited water resources, navigation is currently closed between Lock 1 and Lock 6 on the Glasson Branch. Our teams are working to restore water levels to allow navigation to resume. Boaters currently on the flight can contact the North West team on 03030 404040, the Operations team will be available to assist any boaters wishing to leave the Glasson Branch. A further update will be provided on or before Monday, 18 May.
