Navigation remains closed at Little Clegg Swing Bridge on the Rochdale Canal due to a fault with the lock mechanism and the hydraulic hose that operates the swing bridge. Our contractors have received the additional parts required to complete the repairs and have scheduled to return to site on Thursday, 18 June to carry out the remaining works to restore normal operation as quickly as possible. In the meantime, assisted passages will be available to help customers navigate through Little Clegg Swing Bridge. Assisted passages are available at the following times: Monday to Friday: 8:30am – 2:00pm Saturday and Sunday: 12:30pm If you wish to pass through the affected area, please contact our North West Customer Support Team on 0303 040 4040 with at least 48 hours' notice during the following opening hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:30am – 5:00pm Friday: 8:30am – 4:30pm A further update will be provided on Friday, 19 June.
