The boat has been rescued and is no longer stuck on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal. However, the closure from Lock 1E to Lock 8E is still in place and we shall be reviewing it tomorrow and updating the notice.

There is a boat which has become stuck due to low water levels on the HNC near Bridge 22, Queen St South, on the entrance to Coal Wharf Lock (Disused former Lock 2E). We are planning to attend site on Monday to help recover the boat.

There is a boat which has become stuck due to low water levels on the HNC near Bridge 22, Queen St South. We have done everything we can to recover the levels in the canal and need to wait for the levels to rise again.
