Navigation remains closed due to low water levels between Lock 24W and Lock 32W on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal. Following further investigation, damage was found to the lock cill at Lock 29W, which is preventing the lock from sealing properly and being filled. The team will be on site on Tuesday 22nd April to repair the lock cill and restore the water levels. A further update will be provided on Tuesday, 22 April.

Navigation is currently closed between Lock 24W and Lock 32W on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal, due to low water levels. Our teams are working to restore water levels to allow navigation to resume. A further update will be provided on or before Monday 20 April.
