Please be advised that both the navigation and towpath are currently closed between Lock 60 and Lock 61. This is due to overhead power lines arcing onto a fallen tree limb, creating a significant safety hazard. The Fire Brigade is on site and the area will remain closed until the power company has attended and the situation has been made safe. Further updates will be provided as soon as more information becomes available.
