Navigation remains closed between Lock 81 and Lock 83 on the Rochdale Canal due to a loose cill at Lock 82. Our local team attended site today to carry out an investigation and are now developing a repair plan for the cill. A further update will be provided on or before Friday, 13 March.

Due to a loose cill at Lock 82 which is preventing the lock being operated, navigation is currently closed between Lock 81 and Lock 83 on the Rochdale Canal. Our local team have been informed and are planning a site visit to carry out investigations and plan a method of repair. A further update will be provided on or before, Monday, 9 March
