Please note that our previous communication incorrectly referred to the closure as affecting Wolverhampton Lock Flight. The closure relates to Walsall Lock Flight, not Wolverhampton. We apologise for the error and any confusion this may have caused.

Please be advised that Wolverhampton Lock Flight has been temporarily closed due to a vandalism incident. Rubble has been dumped behind Lock 3, preventing the gate from being opened. The volume of rubble exceeds what our local team can safely remove today. We are assessing the situation and will provide a further update on Tuesday. We apologise for any inconvenience caused and thank you for your understanding.
