A fallen tree from the offside bank is blocking navigation and partially obstructing the towpath just north of Bridge 56 (Cheswardine Bridge). Due to the size of the tree, the obstruction is beyond the capacity of the local team and has been referred to contractors for removal. Further updates will be issued as more information becomes available.
