Contractors have attended the site and carried out a partial removal of the tree obstructing the towpath at Bridge 84, Ellel Grange Bridge on the Lancaster Canal. This has allowed for the towpath to be reopened. We are currently awaiting their return to complete the full removal of the obstruction across navigation. A further update will be provided on or by Tuesday, 3 February. Thank you for your patience.
