Two trees have fallen across the Shropshire Union Canal between Bridge 29 (Wood Eaton Bridge) and Bridge 30 (Castle Cutting Bridge), blocking navigation. Storm Goretti has impacted a number of our waterways, resulting in a high volume of incidents. Our teams are prioritising safety and are working to clear obstructions and reopen affected routes as quickly as possible.
