Please note the River Salwarpe remains on RED alert this morning so the locks remains closed. We will provide an update as soon as the situation changes.

The River Salwarpe is currently on RED alert and continuing to rise. As a result, the locks remain closed and are likely to stay closed until later tomorrow, subject to rainfall levels and river conditions. We will continue to monitor the situation closely and provide further updates as conditions change.

Due to the canalization of the River Salwarpe between these two locks, we have temporarily closed them to ensure the safety of boaters during current flood conditions. We will keep monitoring the situation and will reopen the locks as soon as it is safe to do so.
