A large tree has fallen and is currently blocking navigation and towpath, near Lock 13 West, Wharf Cottage on the Huddersfield Narrow Canal. Our teams have attended the site, however due to the size and position of the tree we need to instruct our specialist contractor to assist with the removal. At present, we are unable to confirm when the contractor will be on site as adverse weather conditions from Storm Claudia are impacting our waterways across the North West and causing delays. We will provide a further update on or before Monday 17 November.
