Whilst the navigation is closed at Lock 15 East (Golcar Brook Lock) for a stoppage we have managed to allocate some resource to carry out grouting works to address the leakage at Lock 10e. Grouting is a repair method where special cement is injected into cracks or gaps in the lock's structure. This helps stop leaks, strengthens the lock, and keeps it working well for years to come. Please note that towpath access will also be restricted during this period.
