We're pleased to announce that navigation restrictions in this area have now been lifted. Please be reminded that there is still a winter stoppage in place at Calcutt Lock 3 and Hatton Lock 35. Despite the measures we're taking, there may be extreme local circumstances that require us to take immediate action to temporarily close some stretches to navigation.

Please be advised that Calcutt Lock 1 (Top Lock) through to Lock 23 (Radford Bottom Lock) will be closed from Wednesday 5th November until further notice. This closure is necessary to help us conserve water and maintain safe navigation conditions. Last entry for boats will be at 2:00pm on 5th November. Please note that there is also a scheduled winter stoppage at Calcutt Lock 3, which we hope will help to minimise disruption for boaters during this period. We are constantly reviewing the situation, and as soon as conditions improve sufficiently, we will make every effort to provide temporary windows of passage through the locks to allow boat movement. This will depend on water levels rising adequately, which will require sustained rainfall. We appreciate your understanding and support in helping to reduce water use across our network.
