A large tree has fallen between Bridge 49 and Bratch Locks on the Staffordshire & Worcester Canal, causing a complete obstruction to navigation. We've raised this with our contractors and are working closely with them to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. Storm Amy has impacted a number of our waterways, resulting in a high volume of incidents involving fallen trees. Our teams are prioritising safety and working hard to clear obstructions and reopen affected routes. We appreciate your patience and understanding while we respond to this and other urgent cases.
