We are pleased to inform you that repairs to the towpath-side top gate at Lock 23 (Radford Bottom Lock) have been successfully completed, and the lock is now operational. Please note that this lock remains subject to restricted operating hours: 10:00 – 15:00. Thank you for your cooperation.

Please be aware that Lock 23 (Radford Bottom Lock) is currently closed due to structural damage to the towpath-side top gate. The gate cannot be operated, and the lock will remain closed until repairs are carried out. Our team will be on site on Monday to complete the necessary works, after which the lock will be reopened. Signs are being installed on site to inform boaters. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and thank you for your patience.
