We are pleased to advise, navigation is now open between Lock 1 and Lock 2 on the Leigh Branch of the Leeds & Liverpool Canal.

Due to low water levels caused by paddles being left open, navigation is currently closed between Lock 1 and Lock 2 on the Leigh Branch of the Leeds & Liverpool Canal. Our team are now securing the lock gates and working to restore water levels back to normal. We will share another update on Wednesday, 28 May.
